Critical Incident Team

Strategy Research & Development

The Critical Incident Team was created to research and develop strategies that create the most appropriate training, planning, and response to possible critical incidents. Critical incidents may include events such as active shooters at schools, businesses, and local events, as well as large scale weather or traffic related events.

Staff

The Team consists of members from several disciplines within the department to include: 

  • Command Staff
  • Communications
  • Communications
  • Emergency Management
  • Emergency Response Team (ERT)
  • Patrol
  • Traffic

Cooperation

Cooperation and communication is then sought with other entities within City and County Government, local hospitals, and businesses.
