Professionalism, familiarity, showmanship, and proficiency are what you get with Johnny Suede and the Radio Junkies.  This Spartanburg quartet, who’ve all toured and recorded with various  groups over the last 12 years, formed Johnny Suede and the Radio Junkies to pay homage to pop/rock radio hits of the 1970's, 80's, and 90's.

The band's song selection showcases decades of radio hits that served as many personal soundtracks.  With quality musicianship, a familiar song selection, and a high energy delivery, Johnny Suede And The Radio Junkies are sure to entertain and bring back memories of what you were doing when certain songs dominated our radio dials.

Band members are: Mike Burket, former lead guitarist for progressive metal band Ghost in the Machine; John Scoggin, who brings an eclectic folk-pop sound to the band, on guitar and vocals; Jessica Ivey Allen, a talented solo artist and member of several local bands, on bass; and former Dezeray's Hammer drummer Kenny Hogan.
