Welcome to the online home for the City of Greer.

As Greer continues to be one of South Carolina's fastest growing cities, with an annual population growth of six to seven percent,  we strive to maintain the small town atmosphere which is part of our heritage, but with big city issues.  It is indeed an exciting time to be in our community. However, with that excitement comes many challenges.

The ever growing demand for public services is increasing at a record pace. Housing starts break records every year and millions of dollars are invested annually in the community.  Service delivery from all city departments is also growing at a record pace. However, we constantly continue to improve our efficiencies and continue to lower the per capita costs of public services.

Our goal is for you to receive exceptional public service at an affordable price. The value each resident receives for their investment in the community is of paramount importance.  We are "Team Greer" and we are here to serve you.  Please let us know how we are doing.
