Every person engaged or intending to engage in any calling, business, occupation or profession within the city limits of the City of Greer is required to pay an annual license fee and obtain a business license. License fees are based upon the NAICS code of the business and the gross income earned within the city limits of the City of Greer.
The required fee shall be paid annually on or before April 30. The Business License Inspector shall levy and collect a late penalty for each month and portion thereof after the due date until the license has been paid.
Please contact Vicki Adams, the City of Greer's Business License Inspector, with any questions.
The resident and non-resident license fee for each class of business will be calculated from the Business License Rate Schedule (click to view).
The rate class based on type of business activity may be determined on the Rate Class Index (click to view).
