Easter event set for April 11
Games, crafts, and more than 8,000 plastic eggs filled with candy and prizes await visitors to the City of Greer’s Egg-tastic Easter Event set for Saturday, April 16 at Century Park. The two-hour event begins at 10 a.m. and is open to the public at no charge. Activities are planned for children in preschool through the fifth grade.
“This is always one of our biggest annual events because it offers two hours of free fun for families as the weather warms up,” Recreation Supervisor Robby Anders said. “From inflatable activities to crafts, there is something for all young people.”
Participants are asked to bring their own baskets or bags for the egg hunt, which will be divided into age-appropriate groups on the ball fields at Century Park. Also planned this year is a magic show for all ages.
In the event of rain, the Easter event will be rescheduled for 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, April 17.
