8/25/2010 update:
All Cheer for Greer uniforms will arrive Saturday, September 4th.  Those uniforms will be given to your coach and dispersed through a sizing sheet at your next meeting (after the 4th).  Each participant was ordered a full uniform. 

The uniform kit includes
-Shell         -Socks               Pom Poms
-Skirt        -Bloomers

Please remember that all sizes were ordered as parents instructed.  We cannot return or refund these items.  Once those items were paid for they are yours. 

All Cheer for Greer Participants have been placed on a squad.  You should be hearing from your coach shortly.  All cheerleading uniforms have been order.  All orders are final and no refunds will be processed.  Shipment usually takes 7-10 business days.  Uniform packages will include skirt, top, bloomers, socks, hair accessory, and pom poms.  Football game schedules will be released September 1st.

This season old uniforms will not be accepted.  All teams will be color coded to the team in which they cheer for.  This will require a new cheerleading uniform purchase every seaso.  No consignment uniforms will be accepted.  Each participant is required to purchase uniform.   Cheer for Greer registration fee for the 2010 fall session is 120.00 for a city residen and 130.00 for a non resident.  This covers uniform, uniform shipping, trophy, and insurance.  We hope you have an enjoyable experience this season.  Please submit any comments you may have to choltzclaw@cityofgreer.org

Fitting sessions:

When: Monday August 2nd
Where: Victor Gym (located on 101)
Time: 6-8pm

When: Thursday August 5th
Where:  Victor Gym (located on 101)
Time: 6-8pm

It is very important that you make it to one of the fitting sessions.  This season Beth Roberson will be available at Victor Gym to help out with sizing.  Once we order your uniform IT IS YOURS.  No returns, exchanges, or refunds will be granted.  So please use these two opportunities to ensure your child receives a uniform that fits properly.

Each team will be split up according age.  I.E. 6,7,8 year olds will cheer for our 6,7,and 8 year old football teams.  Around half of your games will be at City Stadium located in downtown Greer.  The other half will be away games located at various Greenville County fields. 

We currently have a couple spots available for coaches.  If you would like to help out with our program please stop by our office and talk with athletic staff.   Experience is preferred, but not required. 

Coaching duties involve

• arriving to practice and games on time 
• providing an end of the year banquet (trophy presentation)
• providing a minimum of 1 practice a week (1 game a week) during season 
• communicating rainouts and/or reschedules to your parents
