All FSCG teams (11 years old and below) were drafted Monday August 9th. Your coach should be in contact with you by now regarding your practice schedule. Game schedules are now available online. If you ordered a uniform these items will be given out at practice on Thursday September 2nd. It is very important that you show up that day if you ordered a uniform. No makeup days will be scheduled for uniform hand out. If you miss this uniform handout session please email choltzclaw@cityofgreer.org in order to set up a time to pick up your uniform. If you did not order a uniform our shipping requires a minimum of 10 days in order to get stock back. So please let me know ASAP.
Please be aware. If you are signing up for age groups 12 and up (FSCG/CESA interleague) your son or daughter must first be placed on a team by Greer Parks and Recreation athletic staff. Mini camps are not a requirement in order to be placed, however Foothills Soccer Club of Greer only has a certain amount of spots to fill. If he/she does not get placed a full refund of registration fees will be processed. 12 and up registration is not available online. You must register for that age group in office (effectively starting the enrollment process)

Coaches will be calling players on the 10th and 11th. The first day Suber will be available to FSCG micro teams is August 12th. This does not automatically mean your first practice will be that day. Most teams have opted for a Tuesday, August 17th start date. Please wait till you hear from your coach before heading out to Suber Park.
Uniforms have been submitted to our uniform provider. Your coaches will recieve these and distribute when they arrive at our office.
Registration is currently underway for FSCG micro soccer fall session. FSCG micro is a program that emphasizes the basics of soccer for ages 3-11. Your league age is determined by whatever age you are as of 3/1 of the current year. We use three different age groups. The age groups consist of 5U, 8U, and 11U. Our 5U divion is strictly for 3,4, and 5 year olds. No score is kept in this league and no tournament play will be scheduled for this age divisin. Our 8U (6, 7, and 8) year olds do keep score and participate in a single elimination post season tournament each year. The 11U (9,10, and 11) also keep score and participate in a single elimination tournament. We accept players of all skill levels in our micro soccer program however we do encourage early enrollment in order to get acquainted with our system. We play every Tuesday and Thursday night at either Suber or Country Club Park.
Game/Practice times are as follows:
5U (5 and under) 6pm Tuesday/Thursday
8U (8 and under) 7pm Tuesday/Thursday
11U (11 and under) 8pm Tueday/Thursday
Each game session and practice session is schedule for a 1 hour time slot. For the fall 2010 season Suber Park will be our home. Suber Park has 3 different fields. Two full size fields and 1 half size field. Parking spots are limited so we ask that you car pool if possible. Gates will be unlocked by 5:15 pm. We ask that you arrive at this time or after in order to avoid congestion on Suber Road.
Coaches that have committed for the Fall 2010 season (as of 7/19/2010). Depending on the number of participants we will either recruit more coaches or pair them together. We are always looking for volunteers to help out our program. It is a great chance to meet new friends and teach the game you love. Experience is preferred, but not necessary. We can teach you drills. Our more experienced coaches are more than happy to help you out as well.

Soccer is a fast growing sport in Greer. In 1993 the game started with only eight players, now over 230 kids play. The program conducts fall and spring seasons. Youths may begin play at age 3 and continue through 19 (depending on availabity). The cost is $70 for registration. This does not include uniform fee.
This fall over 260 kids played soccer through the Greer Recreation Association. These players comprised 23 teams beginning with the 3-4 year old league to Under 19 division a new high mark for our program. At the end of the season some of the kids got together and formed tournament teams. The U12 Boys team won Greer's first ever tournament championship by defeating SGU Scorpions 3-0, GFC Strikers 4-0 and SGU Fury 1-0. This was followed by Greer's second championship a couple hours later when the U10 Boys defeated SGU Shooters 4-2 tied the SGU Scorpions 2-2 and defeated the Shooters 1-0 in overtime. The Under 14 Boys finished tournament runner-ups by defeating SGU Cyclones 3-0, SGU Silverstreak 1-0 tying a team from Matthews 3-3 and losing in the final to TCSC United 1-0. The avenged that loss two nights later in the Greenville Co. Divisional Championship 3-1. Congratulations to those teams and special thanks to all the coaches who helped us this year.
Greer Soccer makes its home at several top notch facilities. Soccer players of all ages enjoy this fast pace game at the Suber Road Soccer Complex, the Country Club Road Sports Complex and City Stadium.
