Building Permit Fees

Effective July 1, 2008

Total Valuation	Fee
$200.00 and less	No fee, unless inspection is required (in which case a $10.00 fee will be charged).
$201.00 to $2000.00	$10.50 per thousand or fraction thereof.
$2001.00 to $15,000	$21.00 for the first $2000 plus $6.50 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof, to and including $15,000.
$15,001 to $50,000	$105.50. for the first $15,000 plus $5.50 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof, to and including $50,000.
$50,001 to $100,000	$298.00 for the first $50,000 plus $4.50 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof, to and including $100,000.
$100,001 to $500,000	$523.00 for the first $100,000 plus $3.50 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof, to and including $500,000.
$500,001 and up	$1923.00 for the first $500,000 plus $2.50 for each additional thousand or fraction thereof.

• Moving of buildings or structures - $100.00 + 125% bond or letter of credit based on the contract cost to be paid at the time of permitting and released at the time of final inspection.
  
• Demolition of buildings or structures - $100.00 + 125% bond or letter of credit based on the contract cost to be paid at the time of permitting and released at the time of final inspection.
  
• Plan Reviews - One-half the permit fee, to be paid at the time of permitting.  Submittal of revisions after permitting will be charged one-half the plan review fee.
  
• Grading Permit - $100.00
  
• Reinspection Fee - $50.00
  
• Sanitation - $130.00

Penalties

Any work started prior to the proper permits being issued, the permit fee will be doubled. The payment of said fees shall not relieve any persons from fully complying with the requirements of this Code in the execution of the work nor from any other penalties prescribed herein.
