Kids Planet, the popular playground located at the City of Greer's Century Park, closed September 6 for maintenance and renovations to keep the facility safe and even more enjoyable for those who use it.

The renovations are scheduled during the week to minimize inconvenience and, weather permitting, should be completed within 10 business days.

The work will include maintenance and any necessary repairs to the play equipment at Kids Planet.  Upgrades are also planned for restroom facilities, including a larger water line and new fixtures.

If weather does not interrupt work, Kids Planet is expected to reopen on September 17.  No reservations will be accepted for Kids Planet picnic shelters until the facility reopens.  Any questions or comments may be addressed to Recreation Supervisor Katie Buck at 416-6606 or kbuck@cityofgreer.org.
