Santa's Mailbag
For a fellow who oversees a massive North Pole manufacturing facility, Santa Claus is surprisingly old fashioned when it comes to texts and e-mails. That’s why the City of Greer Parks and Recreation Department is offering local children an opportunity to write Santa a personal letter that will be hand-delivered. Children may even receive a personal response.
“Santa’s Mailbag is always a popular program for children in the city,” said Katie Buck, recreation supervisor and local emissary to the CEO of a certain North Pole manufacturing facility. “Writing letters to Santa is a generations-old tradition and it’s a lasting memory when children receive a personal response.”
Families may download a letter template below and complete the letter with Christmas wishes and a return address. Then simply mail (or drop off the letter) with a paid or stamped envelope for those who would like a return letter to:
