Twilight to open Moonlight Movies series
Edward. Jacob.

Vampires. Werewolves.

What's a girl to do?

Find out when The Twilight Saga: Eclipse opens the 2011 Moonlight Movies series on Thursday, May 19 at the Greer City Park Amphitheater.

Now in its third season, Moonlight Movies includes 12 weeks of Hollywood.  The free films begin at dusk and are shown on the city's large inflatable screen.

Feeling the need for popcorn or another snack?  The Sabrett's Hot Dog Cart will be on hand to sell a variety of snacks throughout the evening.

The popular Twilight series was an easy selection to open the 2011 schedule according to City of Greer Events Supervisor Laurie Campbell.

"We wanted to include some films for teens and older viewers.  Aside from Harry Potter, which we'll show in June, I'm not sure there is another film franchise available right now that has captured the attention of that age group the way Twilight has," Campbell said.

In Eclipse, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, Bella is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob -- knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the struggle between vampire and werewolf.
