Contest open to middle and high school students

Awards Reception February 7, 2014 

The City of Greer is proud to present the 2014 Black History Month Essay Contest! The goal of this contest is to highlight the contributions that African-American men and women have made in our community and/or the country as a whole, and we are inviting all middle and high school students in the Upstate to participate. Essays should be original, no more that 500 words, typed and double-spaced. All entries should be student corrected and not edited by a teacher or parent.
