Signs must be permitted and approved through the City's Planning and Zoning Department.

Portable signs, roof signs, beacons, strobe lights and moving signs including pennants and corporate flags are not allowed.

It is unlawful to paste, paint, nail, or place placards, handbills, cards, pictures or other advertising signs or materials on any lamppost, telegraph, telephone or power pole, fence, or outside wall of a building within the city. Advertising materials may be placed inside buildings, display windows, or automobiles with the consent of the owners.
