Kids of all ages need special care when they ride in vehicles. As part of Safe Kids Upstate, the City of Greer Fire Department is a permanent car seat inspection station for child safety seats.

Tours

During a fire department tour, students will learn about fire safety, the importance of a having a smoke alarm and escape plan, and will see one of our firefighters don their turn-out gear.

Explorer Post 103

The Greer Fire Department's Explorer Post 103 is for young people between the ages of 14 and 20 who are interested in pursuing careers in emergency medicine and fire science fields.

Citizens Fire Academy

The City of Greer Fire Department’s Citizens Fire Academy is a free eight-week course designed to introduce our citizens to the functions and daily operations of the City of Greer Fire Department.
