Nuisance Issues
Tor Ellstrom, the City of Greer's Code Enforcement Officer, performs a variety of inspections on public, commercial, and private property and conducts follow-up inspections as necessary. He inspects property for nuisances to include tall grass, trash, debris, and unsanitary, unhealthy and unsafe conditions.

Recognizing that recycling is an investment in the future, the City of Greer offers two convenient ways for residents to recycle appropriate materials.

Stormwater Issues
The Stormwater Management Program staff works with other City departments and government agencies to protect our waterways from storm water pollutants that may be generated by construction sites, industrial emissions, or other means. Staff members also respond to citizen concerns about drainage.

Trash Collection
The City contracts with ACE Environmental Inc. to collect garbage curbside once per week from every city residence on an arranged schedule Monday through Wednesday.
