The main goal of the Greer Police Department's Traffic team is promoting Traffic Safety to help ensure that Greer continues to be a safe and fun community.
The Traffic Team's Sergeant Randle Ballenger assisting News 4 with the Traffic Report morning along with Officer Jordan Williams and his K-9, Boss.
Sergeant Ballenger was stopped by Bo Andrews (one of the four legged members of our community) recently. Bo and his family wanted to express their appreciation for everything that Law Enforcement does in working with our community to make our streets and neighborhoods safer.
The Traffic Team used 2 All Traffic Solutions message signs set to flash Road Race and Keep Left during the Fall for GMC 5K run. The Traffic Team was present at major intersections as well to ensure runner safety and smooth traffic flow.
The Greer Traffic Team was also present for The 8th Annual Benson OctoberFAST 5K Twilight Run / Walk. Runners can be seen finishing up the race down West Poinsett Street and turning onto South Miller Street which is blocked off by a traffic unit.
