Business License

Businesses must obtain a city business license before the start of business. Licenses are issued at City Hall. Call the Business License Office at 864-848-2186 for more information.

Information Needed

The following information is needed to issue the business license:

  • ABC License (when required)
  • Business Mailing Address
  • Business Name
  • Certificate of Occupancy
  • Contact Name
  • Description of Type of Business
  • DHEC permit (when required)
  • Fax Number
  • Federal ID Number or Social Security Number
  • Phone Number
  • Physical Address of Business
  • South Carolina Retail Sales Tax License (when required)
