Greer Children's Theatre

The Greer Children's Theatre is among GCAC's most popular programs. Each year, GCT performs three musicals or plays at either the Cannon Centre or the J. Harley Bonds Career Center. GCT boasts the most affordable ticket prices in the Upstate. During the summer, the performances put on by Camp ARK's Advanced Camp are free to the public! Auditions for most GCT shows are open to children in first grade through High School.

The Lion King JR

Congratulations, and welcome to the cast of the Lion King Junior!

There is a mandatory parent/cast meeting on Monday Nov 28 at 6:00pm at the City of Greer Center for the Arts followed by a read thru for the cast. 

If your name is on the list, it means you are a part of our cast. We cannot wait to have you, and be on the lookout for all upcoming emails so we can get this process started. We can’t wait to create the show with you all! The Lion King is a massive show, and we have a lot of work to do, but the entire creative team is thrilled to be working with you all.

For those of you who were not cast, we appreciate your time and talents so much. You are all incredibly talented, but unfortunately we do not have the space for all of you in the show. Please come back and audition with us again for future shows, and I am sure there is one in our upcoming season where you will be a good fit.

Performances: Feb 24-26 & March 3-5, 2023

Fridays and Saturdays at 7pm, Saturdays & Sundays at 2pm
