COVID-19 has posed many restrictions and hardships on businesses and individuals alike; this unfamiliar new way of life has required everyone globally and locally to adapt to keep each other safe.
With awareness of economically trying times, the Greer City Council has taken action to partially alleviate business license fees by providing a means to a business license renewal rebate. Each business that requests this rebate will be eligible for a maximum of a $100 rebate.
“Greer City Council has been particularly attuned to the pandemic’s effect on our local economy and is pleased to announce an economic relief effort. We look forward to emerging from this pandemic stronger than ever. It is our hope that this economic relief initiative will help lead that effort,” said Mayor Rick Danner.
Businesses may submit applications until the close of business on January 31, 2021, to receive the rebate.
