Can I see my expunged file?: Once a record is expunged, all information about that record is destroyed (in the case of physical records) or deleted (in the case of digital records).

1. Can you do a criminal records check for me?: No.

2. Do I have an active warrant?: Greer Municipal Court employees are not authorized to provide this information. You need to check with local law enforcement.

3. What do I do if I have an outstanding warrant on me?: You will need to go to the City of Greer Police Department at 101 E. Poinsett Street, Greer, SC 29651 and have the warrant served.

4. How can I get this warrant off my record?

If you were found not guilty or the case was dismissed or nolle prossed, with a court date on or after June 2, 2010 and it was in Greer Municipal Court, we will automatically expunge it according to state statute.
If you were found not guilty or the case was dismissed or nolle prossed, with a court date on or before June 1, 2010 and it was in Greer Municipal Court, you will need to submit a request and a completed Expungement Order.
If you were found guilty, but have not had any further convictions for 3 years (5 years for Domestic Violence 3rd Degree), you can get more information from the Solicitor’s Office.
