Special Event Permit Applications
The Parks, Recreation & Tourism Department oversees the special event permitting process. Organizations who would like to host a public gathering on City of Greer property are required to obtain a permit. Examples of events include festivals, concerts, parades, and races.
Requesting organizations must submit a Special Event Permit Application to the Tourism Division no later than 30 days prior to the event date. Completion of this application does not guarantee approval.
Groups requesting the restriction of a residential street must submit the Neighborhood Block Party Permit Application no later than 30 days prior to the event date. Completion of this application does not guarantee approval.
Completed applications should be emailed to tourism@cityofgreer.org or mailed/delivered to Greer City Hall, Attn: Tourism Division, 301 E. Poinsett Street, Greer, SC 29651.
Greer City Park Events- Individuals or organizations requesting to host an event at Greer City Park must contact the Events Division to check availability, complete the rental paperwork, and pay the specified rental fees.
