Thank you for your interest in vending opportunities. The City of Greer hosts a variety of festivals and events throughout the year in which we select food and non-profit vendors. The City of Greer is dedicated to the support of local vendors who offer local products and services.

Applying for an event is not a guaranteed acceptance into the event. Event size and number of applications received will determine the amount of vendors selected. 

The City of Greer requires that all participating food vendors have a professional presentations. The look of a restaurant's booth and unique menu is important to the event committee and is a major factor in the selection process. The event committee review all applications. In the case of duplicate items, the grading criteria is as follows: food authenticity, level of innovative products and menu items, City of Greer status, booth appearance, and value of products and services.

To be eligible for any City of Greer Events, food vendors must have the following.

• City of Greer Business License - Fill out the Business License Information Sheet and submit to Heather Towner at Email Heather Towner - Food Vendors Only

• To better serve our community, the City of Greer requires all food vendors must operate in accordance with SC DHEC Regulation 61-25. For more information, please call the Environmental Health Manager at 864-372-3099. - Food Vendors Only

• All food trucks must meet the 2018 International Fire Code section 319 and must be inspected yearly by City of Greer officials. - Food Trucks Only

• Food Vendors must supply the City of Greer with a certificate of general liability insurance listing the City of Greer as an additional insured for the event date. Coverage must be at least $1,000,000 general aggregate and $500,000 each occurrence.

• A State of South Carolina Retail Business License - This can be found at https://dor.sc.gov/tax/registration. - All Vendors
