The film crew for the upcoming movie Brothers Twice needed rain for a scene that they were filming here in downtown Greer and the Fire Department delivered. Enjoy this peek behind the scenes!

Heads up Greer residents! Starting today, a new area code was added to the Upstate: 821. What does this mean for people with existing 864 area codes? Any number with an 864 area code must be dialed with the area code going forward. Be sure to update your phone contacts! 📱

We hope you’ll join us at Greer City Hall for an interactive conversation about the City of Greer’s quality of life, strong sense of community, and role in a rapidly growing region.

Just a heads up for anyone heading to City Park tomorrow: the swing arbors will be repaired starting tomorrow morning at around 7:30 AM. During the repair, there will be barricades blocking off the entire area. These barricades will begin on each side of the smaller fountain and wrap around the backside of the swing arbor and along the brick wall behind the arbor. You will still be able to access the sidewalk to walk around the fountain and swing arbor (you just won't be able to walk through the middle.) We will keep you updated and let you know when the swing arbor repairs are finished!
