Cops for Tots Annual December Gift Giveaway

Thirty-four years ago, one employee at Greer Police Department started the Cops for Tots Program as a way to help a small number of struggling families in the Greer area at Christmastime. The program was established to provide gifts for children who otherwise would have no gifts to open on Christmas day. Since that time, the program has grown exponentially and now helps hundreds of children each December. For the Greer Police Department, we take seriously the call to partner with our community and foster positive relationships between officers and children. We look forward each year to giving the gift of joy to our area children!  

Participation

Families needing assistance through this year's Cops for Tots program may pick up an application in the Greer Police Department lobby from October 23-November 27, 2023. (Monday-Friday Only), 8:30am-4:30pm. Completed applications will be accepted through November 27, 2023 only. The program is open to children from birth to twelve years of age.

The City of Greer Police Department partners with the local community each year to make Christmas a special time for our area children. Here's how you can help:

1. Donations can be made financially in several ways- by mail (102 S. Main St. Greer, SC 29650), in person at the police department lobby Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM, or online by clicking below-

If you write a check, it should be made out to Greer Cops for Tots.

2. We accept new, unwrapped toys. We have a bin in our lobby and in several locations in the community. 

3. Send a new, unwrapped to us through Amazon. Just have it delivered to our department no later than Dec. 8.
