Dining Around Greer
This weekend the Rotary Club of Greer hosted its third “Dining Around Greer” fundraiser. 28 local restaurants provided guests with some of the best bites in the Upstate as attendees raised money to support the club’s yearlong civic work with several local nonprofits. SCDOT Road Closure
Drivers around the Hampton Road area will notice a slight change in traffic starting today! Beginning on March 2, SCDOT will close and detour Hampton Rd in Spartanburg County as part of an ongoing roundabout project. The road is scheduled to reopen on April 16. City Event Receives Recognition
Our Parks, Recreation, and Tourism team has been recognized in two categories of the Southeast Festival Association Regional Awards! The city’s Dia de los Muertos event won this year’s Unique Seasonal Specialty Award and Best Festival award for events of that size. Day of the Dead honors Mexican culture with music, performances, food, and vendors. An estimated two-thousand people attended the event last November.
