A star-studded lineup, a trip around the world, and a homecoming celebration headline our Greerview segment for the week of April 27, 2026.

Greer Goes Global

Thousands of people packed Greer City Park on Saturday to celebrate our community's cultural diversity at the Greer Goes Global International Festival. Enthusiastic entertainers wowed the crowd with music, dance, and traditions from around the world. Food vendors shared their international flavors in the parking lot of City Hall.

This year's Parade of Nations featured flags from 22 countries including two that were new to the festival: Turkmenistan and Cape Verde. France, a festival favorite for many years, won the 2026 Above and Beyond award for providing a great cultural experience for visitors to their country's booth.

2026 BMW Charity Pro-Am

The BMW Charity Pro-Am is on track for another successful year of fundraising and fun. The BMW Performance Center hosted the big reveal of this year's celebrity lineup. First time tournament stars will include Bill Murray of Caddy Shack and Ghostbusters, seven-time Cy Young Award Winner and MLB pitcher Roger Clemens, and Seinfeld star Patrick Warburton. Crowd favorites Brian Baumgartner, Connor Shaw, and Steve Smith, Sr. will be back on the green this year.

Once again, the Par-Tee on Trade will help kick off the tournament that brings thousands of people into our community every year. We'll let you know when we can share what's in store for this year's Par-Tee in downtown Greer.

Greer150: The Textile Era

The Greer Mill came alive on Saturday for a lesson in the city's rich textile history from the team at the Greer Heritage Museum. This month's Greer150 sesquicentennial event attracted hundreds of people of all ages to the old mill that's about to begin a new chapter of its own.
