The 1:00 slot is already full, so be sure to get your free ticket to the 10am or 4pm event soon! Grab your tickets here.

The Davenport Gets a Makeover

Downtown is about to get colorful! A long-awaited mural is coming to classic Greer building this week. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for local artist Adam Schrimmer, who will be working on the piece beginning on Wednesday. We’ll keep you posted on any minor adjustments to sidewalk accessibility that arise throughout the process.

Greer Athletic Coordinator Throws Out the First Pitch

Last week, City of Greer athletics coordinator Phil Hembree threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Warhawks first home game at Stevens Field. Phil is an alum of the American Legion team, and we are proud to have him serve on staff assisting the young athletes in our community on their own journeys!

Summer Safety with the Greer Fire and Police Departments

On Thursday, families joined our Police and Fire Departments at Target on Wade Hampton for the annual Target Summer Safety Event! Attendees played games and won prizes for learning safety tips and tricks from our first responders. Thank you to our teams for their constant and creative dedication to keeping our community safe and healthy.

Honoring Judge. Henry Mims

On Friday, we honored the legacy of a true Greer Legend. Judge Henry Mims is retiring after serving our community with compassion and integrity as Chief Municipal Judge for over 3 decades. Appointed in 1994, Judge Mims has led a storied career that will forever be memorialized in the courtroom that has been renamed in his honor. We thank him for his service and wish him a happy, well-earned, retirement!
