Park Restroom Closure

The men's restroom near the playground and picnic shelter at Greer City Park will be closed for maintenance until Wednesday morning. The restroom been the park's main entrance and the amphitheater will still be available.

Garage Elevator Closed

The elevator in the Jason Street public parking garage is temporarily closed. The vendor will be on site on Monday to diagnose the issue and initiate repairs. We'll keep you posted on the status of the elevator.

Road Closure

A section of E. Poinsett Street will be closed for a few hours tonight (Monday, July 20) for work on a set of crosswalk lights. Crews will close E. Poinsett from Trade Street to Cannon Street at 8 p.m. and divert traffic around the work zone. Repairs should take about four hours, and traffic should be flowing normally by Tuesday morning.

Learning Opportunity

Rental property owners and tenants in the City of Greer have a chance to learn, engage, and connect with city staff on Thursday, July 23. The Community Compliance team is hosting an interactive session to talk about property maintenance standards, rental regulations, and tenants' rights. The gathering starts at 6:00 at the Praise Cathedral Dining Center at 3390 Brushy Creek Road in Greer. The city will provide light refreshments.

Moonlight Movies

Also on Thursday, a Pixar classic will take over the screen at Greer City Park for Moonlight Movies. Pre-show activities for the free event will begin at 6:00 p.m., and the showing of Inside Out will begin at 7:00. Note: Organizers had to change the movie for this event due to unforeseen circumstances.
