The City of Greer will accept filings for three City Council seats, Mayor and one Commissioner of Public Works seat at noon on July 17. Those seats will be on the ballot in the November 7 Municipal Election.
The filing window for all races will be open until noon on August 15. Candidates may file with Municipal Clerk Tammy Duncan at Greer City Hall between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
The filing fee is $70 for Council; $125 for Mayor and Commissioner of Public Works.
All City Council seats and the Mayor's office are four-year terms. Commissioner of Public Works is a six-year term.
