Omron, the world’s largest manufacturer of blood pressure meters, is laying down roots in Greer, South Carolina after a nationwide search for a new location.
The company, headquartered in Kyoto, Japan, is investing $9.2 million to build a space inside Atlas at Inland Port Greer. Omron says the new site will house manufacturing, warehousing, and an automation Proof of Concept center.
Here in Greer, Omron will focus on innovation and manufacturing products that help other companies automate their production.
