kids waiting to start egg hunt

The Eggtastic Easter Event moved to Greer City Park this year, and was a huge hit for families who attended.

“It was really easy to sign up and glad it wasn’t rained out,” said Caroline Bates who lives in Greenville.

Some heard about the event from friends, others from online publications like Kidding Around Greenville.

“So they post all the stuff and that’s how we stay in the know,” said Donna Barnett who lives in Greer.

Still more are coming back to the event after previously attending.

“We’ve actually come before and then Covid happened and then we ended up not coming for several years and then we started having some other events but we remembered how fun it was and we decided to come back this year,” said Ryan Supler who lives in Greer.

Supler and his family used to come to the event when it was at Century Park.

“I think it works out better here it’s more spread out and more organized," Supler said. "Yeah, it’s spread out absolutely."

Parents saying the egg hunts, crafts, face painting, magic show, inflatables and more were a great way to lead into the Easter season.

“It’s so busy sometimes sometimes with different things going on Easter weekend so it’s nice to have something in the weekend before and really kind of get in the spirit,” Bates said.

“I think it’s spectacular that Greer plans family events like this it’s fun for the whole family kids of different ages. I think it’s great how much Greer invest in families in the community being inviting of all people,” Supler said.
